Nice photo of this group enjoying their New Year.
From L to R: Mike (larger than life in pic),
Brett,Jeanne, Kyle,cutie Scott and handsome
Ethan. They said they have been coming to the
Onion for over 40 years and enjoy the pizza and Veal
parmesian dinner. Lexington, Mass.
"We have been enjoying the Red Onion for
40 years. It is an icon for the Rangeley
region and we like the consistency." They
enjoy the pizza and pasta dishes and the
draft beer.
Owen & Annie, leftside from Falmouth, ME
Henry & Cynthia from Mt. Desert, ME.
"We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that it
stays the same. We like the chix parmesian sandwhich
and the pepperoni and onion pizza." L to R: Tracy,
Mark, Ben, Nate (with hat), Willy and Kim (great
name). These guys are from Hamilton, Mass.
This group enjoys the Red Onion, why? "This
restaurant is a staple in this area of Maine, there's
history here." L to R: Beth & Bob, Steve & Deb, Rob
& Michelle. I was told Bob's mom used to converse in
German with Bruni Liedl in earlier years.
These kids belong to the group
above, nice looking bunch posing
for photo in the front room of the
Onion.
The folks have been coming to our
restaurant since 1972, pretty much when it
opened. They enjoy the 'rustic and
charming' atmosphere and food, like the
antipasta, extra thin crust veggie combo
pizza, and the onion rings.
Chris (front left) used to be a busboy at the
Onion a number of years ago and said he had
an embarassing mishap... I will leave it at
that.
L to R: Chris, Lauren, Eddie, Joe, Lucy(so
photogenic) and Angie with the big smile.
Winter Decor, upstairs dining.
